A Memorable Recital

Parinithi Kalakendra organised its monthly programme, ‘Kalamaasika’ at Shivamaya Auditorium in Sagar on October 14. The programme was inaugurated by TS Raghavendra (a theatre personality), Anand Naik and Mohan. Gopal Sagar, a renowned Bharatanatyam dancer and teacher gave the welcome address.

The programme began with ‘Durga Stuti’ by Aishwarya Narayan.  Later, Divya Bhat performed a Bharatanatyam recital with soulful pieces – Ganpati Stuti, Varnam composed by Lalgudi Jayaraman, Padam,  Devaranama Gummana Kareyadire and Thillana.

Her performance gave everyone a memorable experience. The Chief Guest for the occasion, Raghavendra lauded Parinithi Kalakendra for providing an opportunity for young and  talented artistes.
