Berlin, Germany – Andhra Pradesh’s Minister of Tourism, Kandula Durgesh, is actively engaging with investors in Germany to showcase the state’s vast tourism potential. During his visit, the minister highlighted Andhra Pradesh’s strategic advantages, including its 1,000 km coastline, diverse landscapes, and renowned pilgrimage sites such as Tirumala Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Amaravati, and Nagarjuna Konda.

Addressing the international press, Minister Durgesh emphasized his excitement of Andhra Pradesh’s participation in the forthcoming ITB Berlin 2025 conference, expressing confidence that it will enhance the state’s global tourism profile and attract foreign investment. He outlined the government’s initiatives under the leadership of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, focusing on infrastructure development, sustainable tourism, and job creation.

The minister underscored the potential for luxury tourism, including high-end resorts, wellness centers, and adventure tourism, as well as the promotion of rural tourism in areas like Araku Valley, known for its tribal heritage. He also reiterated the state’s commitment to environmental sustainability through initiatives such as solid waste management and ecological conservation.

Minister Durgesh’s engagements in Germany have garnered significant interest from investors, reinforcing Andhra Pradesh’s position as a premier tourism destination.
