Vijaya Sundara Swadharma Vedika celebrated its 1st anniversary at Visakha Public Library on August 15. Dr Raghu Yelavarthi, managing director, National Orthopedic Center was the Chief Guest and Dr Sidharth Dara, Professor in Physiotherapy, MIMS was the Guest of Honour. The programme began with a Kuchipudi recital, ‘Itti Mudduladi baaludaedavaadu’ and ‘Koluvaithiva Rangasayi’ by Sanjana, a pupil of Natraj Music & Dance Academy. A special roleplay of Swami Vivekananda was enacted by Rambhatla Pranaya Vamsi.

On the occasion, ‘Maa Guruvu Garu’, a book penned in Telugu by Dr PVSR Bharath Kumar, founder of the trust as a tribute to Vijaya Durga Peetadhipathi and Goddess Sri Vijaya Durga Devi was released through the hands of PS Venkata Ram and CS Murthy. Dr Bharat gave a presentation titled ‘Insight into Spiritual Patriotism’.
