Andhra Pradesh State Film, Television, and Theatre Development Corporation Announces Financial Assistance for Theatre

The Andhra Pradesh State Film, Television, and Theatre Development Corporation Limited (APSFTVTDC) has announced financial assistance for theatre artists and cultural organizations as part of the 177th birth anniversary celebrations of Kandukuri Veeresalingam.

As part of the celebrations, the corporation will provide support to theatre groups, cultural organizations, and individual artists performing Telugu stage dramas across the state. A budget of 16 lakhs has been allocated to support these activities, covering expenses such as venue bookings, transportation, and technical support.

Eligible organizations can apply and selected applicants will receive financial assistance for their performances, helping to preserve and promote Telugu theatre traditions.

The Managing Director of APSFTVTDC emphasized the importance of this initiative in sustaining the rich cultural heritage of Andhra Pradesh and encouraged theatre groups across the state to participate.
