A Grand Celebration of Art and Culture in Andhra Pradesh
The Amaravathi ChitraKala Veedhi 2025, a national art festival organized by the Andhra Pradesh State Creativity & Culture Commission, is scheduled for April 4, 2025, at Lala Cheruvu Road, Rajamahendravaram, Andhra Pradesh. This vibrant event aims to transform the streets into a dynamic canvas, celebrating various art forms including painting, sculpture, digital art, and street art.
In a significant show of support, the Honourable Minister of Culture Kandula Durgesh, unveiled the festival’s poster at the camp office in Rajamahendravaram, underscoring the government’s commitment to fostering artistic talent and cultural initiatives within the state.
Artists from across India are invited to participate, offering a unique opportunity to showcase their work alongside the nation’s best talents. The festival promises extensive exposure, networking opportunities with renowned artists and cultural leaders, and interactive workshops and demonstrations. Additionally, participants will be recognized with awards and spotlights, further enhancing their professional profiles.
A notable aspect of the festival is its commitment to preserving Andhra Pradesh’s artistic heritage. The ₹1,000 registration fee per artist will be entirely allocated to the renovation and modernization of the Damerla Rama Rao Art Gallery, a historic institution dedicated to nurturing future generations of artists.
Each artist will receive a participation certificate or memento from the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
