On the event of birth anniversary celebrations of a great poet called Thiruvalluvar, the Visakhapatnam’s Ramakrishna Beach had witnessed the imprints of sand art of this universal poet. A texture of Thirukkural had been moulded on the strands of the sea shore. This magnificent art had been modeled by Padmashree Sudharshan Patnaik. The birth anniversary celebrations included this sand art initiative to be observed on various sea shores of the country such as Bhubaneshwar, Visakhapatnam, Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai, and Goa.

This initiative had been presented by various organizations at different places on varied dates. The Tamil Sangham presented at Bhubaneshwar on 6th January 2018; The Tamil Kalai Mandram at Visakhapatnam on 7th January 2018; The Tamil Sangham at Thiruvananthapuram on14th January 2018; The Karka Kasadara at Chennai on 15th January 2018; The Tamil Sangham at Goa on 21st January 2018 and voice of Valluvar family, worldwide was also involved.
